Company 95 was dispatched to the intersection of Reading Avenue and Douglass Drive at 0941 hours for a two vehicle crash with fluid and debris in the roadway. On arrival crews found that the fluid was a diesel fuel tank on a dump truck that was struck. Crews evaluated both drivers and then contained the fluid spill to the roadway keeping it out of the stream and nearby pond. Crews worked with Berksmont Towing to stop the leak and help him remove the truck. Douglassville Auto Body removed the other vehicle and crews cleaned up debris. Penn DOT was notified of the spill and requested to sand the highway in that area.
Amity Fire Police assisted at the scene.
