Company 95 was dispatched to 48 S Reading Avenue at 1221 hours for a report of smoke in the building possible structure fire. On arrival crews found a heavy smoke condition and a fire in a closet in the office area. Crews knocked down the fire and began ventilating the structure while continuing to investigate for extension. While ventilating the structure smoke began to build up on the roof and out of the side wall. Crews quickly put the ladder to the roof and opened the ceiling and roof and extinguished the fire that was burning between the roof and ceiling. The Boyertown Fire Marshall and State Police Fire Marshall are investigating the fire to determine cause.
