Company 95 was dispatched to the intersection of N. Grims Mill Road and West Philadelphia Avenue at 1552 hours for a reported two vehicle crash with the vehicles over the embankment in the stream. One occupant was reported to be unresponsive. On arrival crews were advised by Boyertown Ambulance that one occupant was entrapped and deceased and Berks County Coroners Office was called to the scene. Crews stabilized the vehicles and put absorbent booms and pads in the stream to capture leaking fuel and oil. Crews then extricated the trapped driver after the Coroner arrived.
Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
