Company 95 was dispatched to assist Amity Company 49 with a reported structure fire at 723 Constitution Avenue at 1854 hours. Ladder 95, Engine 95, Tanker 95 and Engine 95-1 responded to the scene where Captain 49 confirmed the residence was on fire and all occupants were evacuated. Numerous companies from Berks, Montgomery and Chester Counties assisted with the fire. Douglass Township Police, Road Crew and EMC all assisted as well. Goodwill Ambulance of Pottstown provided rehab services and transported some of the occupants for smoke and other conditions.
Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
