Company 95 members worked with low pressure air bags in a simulated rescue to lift a large dumpster up high enough to be able to remove someone from under the dumpster. This is a slow process with the team working together monitoring movement of the dumpster and placing cribbing under the sides to stabilize it as it is slowly lifted. This type of training is necessary to keep our team ready to respond to Technical Rescue operations in Berks County. Berks County supports BAF&R providing equipment for these special operations as BAF&R is the County’s Technical Rescue Team.
