Company 95 was dispatched to the 600 block of Englesville Road at 2143 hours for a report of a vehicle into two houses with entrapment. Crews arrived and found a vehicle had crossed Englesville Road from Madison Street and continued into a deck on the first house then continued down an embankment hitting a small tree then striking a deck on the second house and continued into a detached garage. The driver was confined in the vehicle due to damage and debris that had gone through the windshield. Crews stabilized the vehicle and removed the driver’s door to extricate the driver. The driver was turned over to Boyertown Ambulance who assisted with extrication by monitoring the driver during extrication. The driver was able to walk to the Ambulance. Crews assisted Berks-Mont Towing with removal of the vehicle. Crews then evaluated the damage to the Structures and spoke to the owners of each property and placed barrier tape securing damaged areas. There was no immediate need to support either deck or the garage.
Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
