On Sunday December 17, 2023 members of Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue received orientation and training on new Vetter Air Bags that are part of the Berks County Collapse program used for rescues and Technical Rescue calls. John Sileski of MES, and also a Special Operations Member of BAF&R conducted the training. Members were able to hook up and disconnect the controllers and the bags and inflate and deflate the bags to learn the capacity and size of the bags. More training is planned in the near future.
