03/10/2025 – At 1642 hours the Structure Assignment was dispatched to assist Station 19, Earl Township Fire Company, with a house reported to be on fire in the unit block of Long Lane Road in Earl Township. Shortly after dispatch it was reported that two residents might still be in the structure and the assignment was upgraded to possible entrapment. Ladder 95, Engine 95-1, and Tanker 95 were all requested and made the response. Engine 19 arrived first in and Assistant 19 reported a working fire with fire showing on the A-B corner of the structure and also in a detached garage and Deputy 19 assuming command. Ladder 95 arrived as first due aerial and positioned at the A-B corner of the structure where the bulk of the fire was showing and setup the main to the roof and personnel accessed and started ventilation. Additional personnel also setup numerous ground ladders and assisted with fire attack.
It was determined that all the occupants were out of the residence and there was no entrapment. Personnel assisted with overhaul and checking for extension and hot spots. Command reported the fire under control and began releasing units and the company was placed available at 1840 hours. During the fire, Company 95 also had 6 personnel on standby at the Reading Avenue Station to cover the depleted area with Engine and Rescue 95.
