03/10/2025 – At 1446 hours Station 95 and Boyertown EMS were dispatched to an accident with injuries at Farmington Avenue and South Reading Avenue in Colebrookdale Township. Eastern Berks Regional Police came upon the accident and requested the dispatch to Berks County Communications. Engine 95-1 and Rescue 95 made the response and arrived to a two vehicle head on collision and all occupants were self extricated. Personnel checked on the occupants and transferred the care to Boyertown EMS upon their arrival for evaluation.
The vehicles were stabilized and leaking fluids were contained. Personnel began cleaning up the debris and when the towing company arrived, assisted the tow company with removal of both damaged vehicles. When the vehicles were removed and debris cleared the police released the assignment, requested the roadway to be opened and the company was available at 1515 hours.
