Company 95 was dispatched to Peach Street Alley behind Iezzi’s on Third for a vehicle on fire at 0020 hours. On arrival crews found a Hyundai SUV fully engulfed in flames parked next to other vehicles. Crews pulled a line and began extinguishing the fire and protecting the vehicles around the one on fire. Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the incident and working on identifying the owner of the vehicle as the occupant had fled the scene prior to arrival of emergency services. Boyertown Ambulance was on scene to assist BAF&R. Berks-Mont Towing impounded the vehicle for Eastern Berks Regional Police.
