3/13/2025 MUTUAL AID BRUSH FIRE, 42 ASH LANE, EARL

Company 95 was dispatched at 1150 hours to assist Earl Township Fire Company with a large brush fire at 42 Ash Lane off of Powder Mill Hollow Road that was spreading up the side of the mountain. Crews arrived and Brush 95-1 went into service supplying to lines and crews worked from the bottom of the mountain with crews from Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue and Amity Fire, while ATV crews from Eastern Berks, Lower Alsace and Exeter worked from the top of the mountain. Crews contained the fire and then spent hours working hot spots and trees that caught fire. DCNR had a crew on location working on the trees that caught fire. Boyertown Ambulance provided Rehab along with the Salvation Army Canteen. The owner also used his all terrain 6×6 to shuttle firefighters to the top of the mountain.
