03/24/2024 – At 01:42 hours Ladder 95 and Tanker 95 were dispatched to assist the Earl Township Fire Company, Station 19, with a reported barn fire in the 200 block of Sunset Hill Road in Earl Township. Chief 19 arrived and reported a barn well involved with animals still inside. Ladder 95 arrived as the second due apparatus and was directed to access the driveway behind Engine 19 and setup the main for possible master stream. The crew assisted with fire attack with several handlines and overhaul. Personnel were able to save several goats from the barn but unfortunately several goats also perished. Tanker 95 was placed in the water shuttle operation and hauled several loads of water from the fill site to the fire scene. After the fire was placed under control, crews performed extensive overhaul and the company was released and available at 04:42 hours.
