03/04/2025 – At 1057 hours Brush 95-1 and Engine 95-1 were requested to assist at a brush fire to the rear of a commercial property in the 7600 block of Boyertown Pike (Route 562) in Amity Township. Engine 49 with Captain 49 (Amity Fire Co) arrived and reported a large pile of debris burning with extension into the wooded area. Brush 95-1 arrived as the first in brush apparatus and began an attack on the spreading fire in the wooded area. Personnel used several forestry handlines from Brush 95-1 to stop the progress of the fire. Personnel also assisted Captain 49 with lines from Engine 49 to attack the large debris pile burning.
Tanker 95 also made the response and supplied water to the fire scene through Rescue Engine 6 (Monarch Fire Co). Personnel assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the fire area including dropping several trees due to them burning high up and inside. Also assisting at the fire was Station 19 (Earl Township Fire). When all fire and overhaul was completed Chief 49 released the assignment and the company was placed available at 1234 hours.
