The Boyertown Area Regional Joint Training Committee kicked off the first Monthly Tri-Company joint training Monday March 6, 2023 at BAF&R’s Reading Avenue Station. Officers and Members of Earl Township Fire Co., Eastern Berks Fire & Rescue and Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue put together a Committee to make the three Companies more cohesive than we already are by setting up a monthly joint training schedule and this was the first session. There was a very good attendance and members from all three Companies had a chance to locate equipment on each of the other Companies Apparatus. BAF&R provided Iced Tea, Soda and Hot Dogs as host of the first session. Everyone had a great time and the Joint Training was a great success. The Committee is looking at special trainings where other neighboring Companies will be invited to participate also. Great job by the Committee!
