Company 95 was dispatched for Collapse 95 at 0543 hours to assist Companies 7, 6 and 25 with a vehicle into a building with partial structural collapse. On arrival crews met with Command and determined the amount of damage and stability of the structure as Fire crews on scene worked with the towing company to remove the vehicle from the scene. Crews developed a plan and set Paratech struts in place to carry the load of the top floors and stabilize the building so crews from Moyer’s Restoration could clean up the debris and construct a wall to replace the Struts and close in the building. Crews from Stations 7 & 6 assisted Company 95 with the stabilization of the structure.
