Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue had a busy weekend with Trench Class on both Saturday and Sunday and Earth Day on Saturday as well as Bowl & Laser Tag with a First Responder at Jay Lanes in Douglass Township on Saturday evening. Crews handled all of the events and trainings as well as feeding those attending the training and Earth Day.
Earth Day is one of the events at the Park where BAF&R is the primary food vendor, feeding participants with Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Sausage Sandwiches, French Fries and cold drinks. BAF&R also sets up apparatus for the community to see and look inside and provide helmets for any children that check out the apparatus.
We stayed busy the entire time and we got to meet many great members of the community.
