Company 95 completed the mandatory Haz Mat Training that we do each year on Monday June 26, 2023. This was the second class; the first was held Monday June 19, 2023 at Warwick Station with classroom instruction on Hazardous materials. The classes were instructed by Scot Landis of Bucks County Community College. The second class was on the set up and operations of a decontamination operation. Engine 95, Rescue 95 and Ladder 95 were set up to provide fog streams directed from both sides and from overhead to wash down any contaminated personnel. Firefighter Josh Trate put on his structural fire gear and after being covered with powder walked through the wash following Landis’ directions to show the improper and proper way to wash a person down after contamination. Great class!
