Company 95 was dispatched to the area of 444 West Philadelphia Avenue for a T bone crash involving two vehicles with one person injured and confined in the vehicle at 1904 hours. Crews stabilized the vehicles and went to work with Rescue tools to remove the passenger door of the vehicle and then assisted EMS from Boyertown Ambulance with extricating the patient. The occupant was transported to a local hospital. Crews powered down the vehicles and assisted Faust Auto with removal of the vehicles, fluids and debris.
Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
