Company 95 was dispatched to 173 Mountain Road for a large tree on fire at 0610 hours. On arrival Crews called for assistance from Earl Township Fire Company and Eastern Berks Fire & rescue due to the size of the tree and how much was on fire. Crews determined that a Tree service would be needed to cut apart the tree to get to the fire. Dallas Tree Service was responding to assist BAF&R and a DCNR representative who has a tree service arrived and he then cut the tree down and cut it open so the fire could be extinguished. Crews were on location over five hours. Thanks to Dallas Tree Service for their commitment to help and to Bob Andrews for taking down the tree. BAF&R was assisted by Earl Township Fire and Eastern Berks Fire & Rescue.
