Rescue 95 was dispatched at 1147 hours to assist Company 19 with a two vehicle crash with rollover involving a school van with children inside. Crews were updated while enroute that all children and the driver had extricated from the van. On arrival crews from 19 & 95 assisted the occupants getting them to EMS from Boyertown, Gilbertsville and Oley Ambulances. All occupants were conscious and walking and went to local hospitals for evaluation. Crews then assisted Quigley Chevrolet and Berks-Mont Towing with removal of the vehicles and debris. Earl Township Road Crew responded and replaced the damaged Stop Sign. Representatives from Quigley and Boyertown School District also responded to the scene. Rt 73 West was shut down for approximately 2 hours. Crews cleared the scene and opened the roadways at 1330 hours.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
