Company 95 was dispatched to the area of 56 South Sunrise Lane for a vehicle crash with injuries, entrapment and possible fire at 2243 hours. FC 95 arrived on location and confirmed entrapment and heavy smoke from the engine compartment. The window frame was bent down to prepare to pull the driver out the opening in case the vehicle ignited before Crews arrived. Crews arrived on scene and pulled a line to extinguish any fire, stabilized the vehicle and Hurst tools were used to remove the driver’s door so the driver could be extricated. Boyertown Ambulance evaluated the driver and transported him to a hospital. The driver was apparently traveling South on S. Sunrise Lane and failed to negotiate the curve and traveled through a front yard of one residence and through a small wooded area over a stream bed hitting trees and through a horse fence into the pasture. The fence had to be cut to remove the driver and the vehicle.
