Company 95 was dispatched to 116 Applewood Lane for a controlled burn in the back yard called in by someone in the area. The homeowner did not realize there was a ban and figured he was good to burn since it rained most of the evening before. Eastern Berks Regional Police advised the Homeowner to check prior to any future burning to insure it is legal at the time. Crews extinguished the fire and there was no danger to any nearby properties.
