On July 2, 2025 at 0910 hours Company 95 was dispatched to 8 Elaine Drive for a possible structure fire after the residents heard loud popping noises and had smoke in the residence. Crews from BAF&R, Earl Township Fire Company, Eastern Berks Fire Company, Boyertown Ambulance and Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue responded and on arrival checked the residence with thermal imaging cameras and gas meters to find the cause of the issue. After an extensive inspection of the home no active fire found and the residents were advised of the findings and advised to have a service company respond.
