07/29/2025 – Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue is not going EMS based. Our local partners at Boyertown Community Ambulance Service, Station 525, needs a temporary home for their on duty ambulance. The macadam at their station is being replaced and they will not be able to access their building for a couple days. Chief 525, Boyer, contacted Chief 95 and asked if we could assist. Without hesitation we literally opened our doors for them and moved apparatus around to open a bay for them to use as a temporary garage till they are allowed to drive on the new macadam. It is always an honor to see the organizations helping each other more than on the scenes of emergencies. Welcome to your temporary home station 525.
