Company 95 was dispatched to a vehicle into a house at 1036 Reading Avenue with a possible structure fire at 0726 hours. Crews arrived and confirmed heavy entrapment and no structure fire. Incident was held to Companies 95, 97 and 19. Boyertown Ambulance arrived and evaluated the driver and found that he did not survive and the Berks County Coroner was called to the scene. Crews then extricated the driver and assisted the Coroner’s team with removing the driver to their vehicle. The house was inspected inside and outside and did not have any structural damage that was evident. Douglassville Auto Body removed the vehicle. Douglass Township Police are investigating the crash.
