Seven Members of BAF&R flew out to Pierce in Appleton Wisconsin to conduct the final inspection of our new Engine 95. Monday morning 9/22/25 we went to the Blue Floor at Pierce and and started a complete inspection of the truck. We finished that inspection on Tuesday 9/23/25 with a trip to the local testing facility where we drafted water and pumped water back into the pond and some of the members had a chance to drive Engine 95 around the facility. We then went back to Pierce and completed testing of the Foam and Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) which wrapped up our mission in Wisconsin. The minor repairs that we requested have been completed and the Engine is now heading to Pennsylvania having all the final work done at Glick Fire Equipment in Bird In Hand, Pa. We are looking forward to having this new Engine in service very soon.
