Saturday December 6, 2025 was the first day of Trench Rescue training hosted by Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue at the Reading Avenue Station. Members of the Technical Rescue team from BAF&R, Eastern Berks and Western Berks attended the first day of Trench Rescue OPS II to advance their training in this very special rescue operation. Bucks County Community College provided the Training instructors for this Course. The attendees will return next Saturday for the second day of this training and working on rescue techniques in an actual trench.
