Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue was requested for a special visit from Santa Claus for 10 year old Tanner who is dealing with a serious medical condition and would not be able to see Santa on Saturday 12/20/2025, so BAF&R asked Santa for a special favor and he helped us out. BAF&R as well as numerous other Emergency Responders and a large number of caring people from the area joined the event to show Tanner how much we care. There were Police from multiple departments, Ambulances from Boyertown & Bally and numerous Fire trucks. After driving all the Emergency equipment past Tanner’s house, Santa Claus and the Grinch made a visit and the Grinch cannot control himself and tried to steal Tanner’s presents and he was taken into custody by Eastern Berks Regional Police. Santa had a great visit with Tanner and then the rest of the people involved drove by his home to show their support.
