Company 95 was dispatched at 1625 hours to assist Eastern Berks Fire & Rescue with a reported Structure fire in a garage on the rear of the property at 997 Rt 100 at Chestnut Street. Chief 97 arrived and reported smoke from the structure, first engine in the driveway followed by the first Tanker. Crews made entry and extinguished the fire. Company 97 and Company 95 Fire Police shut down Chestnut Street to stage apparatus along the street. The State Police Fire Marshal responded to determine the cause of the fire. The property was turned over to the owner and all Companies cleared the scene.
