Company 95 was dispatched to the 100 Block of North Funk Road at 0611 hours for a vehicle into a tree with possible fire. While enroute crews were updated that there was no fire but there was entrapment and injuries. On scene crews stabilized the vehicle and worked with EMS from Boyertown Ambulance as they extricated the driver. After removing the driver door and pushing the dash off of the driver he was extricated and turned over to EMS and transported to a local Trauma Center. BAF&R was assisted by Company 19 Fire Police to close that section of N. Funk Road for over an hour. Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
