Company 95 was dispatched to 24 Valley Brook Road at 1344 hours for a reported brush fire behind the residence. On arrival crews found that the homeowner had knocked down the fire with garden hoses but there was extensive overhaul to be done to assure the fire would not start again. Utility 95, Brush 97 and ATV 97 moved to the rear of the residence and crews soaked the entire area and raked in the edges to confirm everything was extinguished.
