Company 95 was dispatched to the intersection of Boyertown Pike and Fancy Hill Road to assist Earl Fire Company with a reported crash with injuries and entrapment at 0925 hours. Crews arrived on scene and found the operator of the blue car was injured and the doors on that side of the vehicle were smashed shut. Crews stabilized the vehicles and chose to remove the driver door to extricate the operator due to the vehicle having a console causing extrication through the passenger door to be more difficult. The operator of the truck was not injured. Eastern Berks Fire Police assisted Boyertown and Earl on scene. Crews cleaned up debris and fluids assisting Yocum Towing of Allentown with removing both vehicles.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
