Company 95 was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Reading Avenue for a vehicle into a utility pole in the front yard of the residence at 1947 hours. On location crews found a vehicle in the front yard of 820 S. Reading Avenue and the driver was walking around the vehicle. There was smoke coming from the vehicle initially which may have been from the crushed battery. Crews stabilized the vehicle and checked for any fire or other hazards. Boyertown Ambulance evaluated the driver. Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
