On Saturday April 11, 2026 Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue Assistant Chief Jarid Miller was honored by the Boyertown Citizen of the Year committee as the 72nd Annual Outstanding First Responder of the Year. The event held at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles was sold out including State Local and County leaders that attended to congratulate the honorees. All of us at BAF&R are very proud of Jarid for receiving this well deserved honor.
