Company 95 was dispatched to the area of 114 W. Philadelphia Avenue for a Utility pole on fire at 1249 hours. On location crews found a pole near Morrell Funeral Home burning near the top and nearly burnt through. Crews shut down the roadway and had Met Ed contacted. Earl Township Fire Police and Gilbertsville Fire Police assisted BAF&R Fire Police with shutting down that section of W. Philadelphia Avenue. Met Ed arrived and shut down power and extinguished the fire.
