Company 95 was dispatched for a motor vehicle crash unknown injuries in front of the Warwick Street Station. On location crews found a single vehicle had struck one utility pole that broke into pieces and dropped a second utility pole onto the Gulf sign. Crews assisted EMS from Boyertown Ambulance as needed and contacted Met Ed to secure the power lines. Crews blocked off the entrances to the Circle K from Reading Avenue due to power lines and guide wires hanging across the parking lot. Met Ed arrived and secured the lines and the Boyertown Streets Department assisted by providing barricades to secure the broken pieces of pole to allow traffic to again enter the Circle K.
Eastern Berks Regional Police are investigating the crash.
