Company 95 was dispatched at 1120 hours for a vehicle, Boat fire at 48 Woodside Lane in Douglass Township. The owner was preparing the boat for use this week and while charging the battery it caught fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and there was no damage to the residence. The boat had severe damage.

Company 95 was dispatched at 1705 hours for a report of a tree on fire at 822 N. Reading Avenue. On arrival crews found that the tree was burning inside. Crews flooded the tree with water and then used foam to make sure the fire was extinguished. It is unknown how the fire started.

Company 95 was dispatched for a trash truck on fire at West Motor Freight on S. Reading Avenue. On arrival Eastern Berks Regional Police advised that they knocked down the fire on the cab protector with a fire extinguisher.
